Mobile Ceramic Coating in Weybridge, Surrey

The Brief

We had been contacted by a new (first time) client who had found our website through a Google search for detailing services in Weybridge, Surrey.  After a consultation over the phone the client had originally booked the car in for an Enhancement Detail package to remove small marks and a few light scratches that the car’s paintwork had picked up during the previous ownership.

The Work

All detail packages start with a full safe wash including wheels, arches, door shuts and snow foam before the car is carefully washed and dried. As we started the machine polishing process the client enquired about ceramic coating.

All ceramic coating packages include a machine polish (Enhancement Detail) in order to prepare the paint for the coating. This is to ensure the paint is clean and the coating can bond to the surface of the paint and also to remove any small paint imperfections that would be otherwise sealed in under the coating. As the Ceramic Coating package includes the Enhancement Detail that the client had booked it was an easy decision for him to upgrade to the Ceramic Coating.

Full ceramic coatings cure onto the surface of the car’s paintwork and offer fantastic, long lasting protection as they are not broken down by ultra violet rays from the sun or strong chemicals. Trinity coating typically lasts over 5 years.

Once the cars paint had been machine polished and as many scratches and swirl marks as possible had been polished out the car is wiped down with IPA and the coating applied.  As always we use Pyramid Car Care’s Trinity coating which has a fast cure time allowing it to be applied on a mobile basis.

The Results

As always a picture speaks a thousand words. The car looks absolutely fantastic from all angles with a clarity and depth of shine it had lost in a previous life.  Now protected for at least five years the car is ready for the new owner to love and enjoy.
